Tbh with the new app and the ability to see the ‘direct control’ settings/menu. This is where i can see the 38%. So from your response 38% charge and discharge power is the max setting in terms of power even tho in the ‘invertor setting’ i have set 6000kw battery discharge and charge?
Yes. Read it as “38 Steps” rather than 38% and it makes more sense.
Setting it to 50, should give you maximum power regardless of inverter type, but it will revert to whatever your maximum steps is (38) next time you look. Trying to set a figure above 50 does not work because the inverter can only accept 0 to 50.
Hi there, thanks for this info, helps massively and is re-assuring. My issue now is that the battery will not charge from the grid on the timer. It clicks in for a few minutes then stops. I have an AIO set up. 14.7kw bat and 6kw invertor. With the ‘new’ app access i can see the Gateway Invertor and the AIO invertor….do the settings need to be exactly the same in both invertor setting and does the parallel inverter setting need to be ON system.
- CH2316G050 = master inverter?
- GW2316G094 = secondary/slave inverter?
I have never had to use this functionality before as simy set up the controls in the standard ‘invertor control’ funstion in the app main menu.
Battery needs a hard reset each morning to allow battery supply to resume to the house.
Not sure about inverter parallel mode as that will depend on your wiring and system configuration. It will also decide whether you need to write to just the master or need to write to both.
I’ve no experience of AIOs, but I’m sure that you can find someone to answer /guide you with this.
