Hello Members. I am knew here and rather aged so please bear with me.
I live in Ireland and my installer put in a HY 5.0 Hybrid inverter with two version 5.2 %Kw batteries. I have 16 standard panels with 4 of those on a string to the initial 12. Thats about the limit of my knowledge. Since GivEnergy Ltd went bust my installer has done a runner and left me stranded.
Problem 1. It seems one of my batteries is not charging. Both batteries have the green status light illuminated. One has a full set of charge lights, the other has only the status light illuminated. I have rebooted the inverter and batteries but the problem persists. Can anyone help with diagnosing this issue please?
My second problem is my Givenergy app just does not work at all. It asks me to log in but when I try to do so it asks if am want to connect a smart plug or EV and that is as far as I can go.
Any help would be really appreciated. I am at my wits end over this.

Welcome to the GivEnergy forums; how long these are still around is anyone’s guess, but welcome nonetheless.
I’m disappointed but not surprised that your installer has legged it; they won’t be the last, I am sure. Can you access the GivEnergy web portal at www.givenergy.cloud ? Try and login there and let us know how it goes.

If he can login via the web portal, he can at least look at his inverter parameters and amend to some extent…might need premium subscription but you get a month free…
