Like a fool, I’ve just done the BT FTTP to Vodafone FTTP switch as BT wanted to up my price from £32 a month to £40.
Moved to VF for £27, and a £150 Tesco/Sainsburys/Amazon voucher, so £6.25 a month off, so £20.75 effective.
All connected well using compatibility mode and picked up the 2.4 variant.
Have to say it’s the worst router I’ve ever used on 20+ years of ADSL or newer.
I’ve heard if you unplug the WAN cable and turn it on, you get all the extra features to set (such as splitting wifi) and those setting stay configured until you reset (but lock again after refitting WAN).
I have once seen all these setting this week when doing some config, but can’t find the menu combo sequence to get them again.
