Hi. Our installation is a Hybrid Inverter 3.6, Giv-Bat 5.2 and 2x arrays of PVs. For the last few weeks our monitoring apps haven’t been displaying any data. Initially we thought this was a problem with the app itself, however the online dashboard is displaying data.
The inverter section of the dashboard shows the inverter as being offline, and trying the restart option gives the message ‘restart failed - inverter offline’.
Could someone give advice on how to manually restart the inverter/system? I’ve seen posts saying turn off X, Y, Z, wait 60 seconds, then turn on Z, Y, X; however I’m unsure how that relates to the switches on my installation.

If your inverter is showing as offline in the portal then you won’t be able to reboot it from the portal !
Your installer should have left you a set of startup and shutdown procedures, but if not, these are in the givenergy installation guide https://givenergy.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/Gen-2-Hybrid-Inverter-Installation-Manual.pdf page 10
Thanks. So in my photo above, I turn the two black switches to off, wait a minute, and then turn back on? Or do I also need to switch the red one off as well?
The black switch’s are labelled PV array DC isolator so turning those off only turns off the feed of solar panels to your inverter.
The yellow and red switch is the AC feed to your inverter.
There is also a power button on the right hand side of your battery and a breaker switch either on the side of the battery or in line to the battery.
You will need to turn all of these off in the sequence in the installation guide.
