My battery charging schedule kept being disabled - SOLVED

Hi
there are some very knowledgeable users on here, this story is not for them! It is about a fairly basic mistake / misunderstanding

When the new premium access option came out, there was a choice to go “Local Control” or pay for premium. Initially I investigated local and then decided I really need premium

I ensured my battery (GivBatt 9.5) charging schedule was still there, which it was , but it was disabled.

I re-enabled it a few times but every time after aboiut half an hour it was disabled again.

I checked the inverter remote control history (Click Inverter > three dots > remot control and scroll to the bottom).

A user named “server” via “AP inverter settings” was the culprit who kept disabling my charging schedule.

“Server” does not strike me as a good desciption - server where? In my inverter? In the GivEnergy cloud?

Well with a bit of trial and error it suddenly dawned on me that this was coming form the app, in Smart Scheduler (in other words local control).

I disabled Smart Scheduler in the phone app and all is now well.

Putting it plainly the local control (free basic app feature) was fighting against the cloud control (premium cloud feature)

I posted this as I thought some others might have had a similar problem.
