Anyone else found that the Smart Scheduling function (as shown on app and portal) has stopped working in the last 48 hours?
It previously showed what ‘smart scheduling’ it was doing for home battery charging based on usage / solar forecast / cheap power availability etc. It WAS very good and certainly justified the subscription to the app. Now it’s disappeared and just says ‘No schedule data available for this window yet’.
Anyone else experiencing the same? And any solutions?
I’ve updated my Octopus API and confirmed tariff details - but no joy yet.
I’m finding the same thing, and I can’t find anybody to complain to about it.
I’m paying the subscription, my batteries and gateway are all online on my home network and I can see that they are all communicating to and from Givenergy servers in the UK, but the app is just dead and the portal shows my gateway as “LOST”.
My installer has ghosted me, nobody is responding from Givenergy, and the subscription service collecting my money (Paddle) literally doesn’t have an email address or any facility to ask a simple question…they just collect money.
I run Home Assistant but with the gateway not appearing to be online I don’t seem to have any control…I just have a few entities to report what it is doing…and it isn’t doing much!
Hello, I’ve been having a similar issue. I’ve not been able to change any manual charge settings via the GE app or the web dashboard. I do however only have the free version, no subscription.
This morning I downloaded an App called “INVLocal” was 4.99 for one off software purchase. So far I’m very impressed. Alongside local monitoring and a dashboard that is very similar to the GE, I’ve also been able to set up a manual charge schedule. I’ve never used a smart schedule so not able to comment. I will repot back tomorrow as to whether it follows the schedule over night. The app only works locally but feels like I now have control of the equipment without relying on GE temperamental software/controls.
I hope this is helpful.
Its now the following morning, and I’m please to report the system successfully completed the charge session set in the new app.
