I have 3 5Kw batteries which are charged overnight to 100%. For the last two days the third battery seems to disappear at about 07:00 and the reports show the overall SOC instantaneously dropping by a third. At around 10:00 the battery reappears and the SOC increases by about 5Kw. All batteries are on 3020 firmware (although oddly occasionally showing 2816 for a short time). The temperature on battery 3 does not seem excessive compared to the others, peaking at around 31 degrees. The image below shows a typical day. Any suggestions as to what is happening?

Iād check the cable is properly plugged in properly at each end, sounds like a data communications issue with the battery.
Power the batteries off then unplug and plug them back in. Could just be a poor connection.

Thanks Geoffrey. All the connections appear normal - the installation is indoors and undisturbed and has worked without problems for a couple of years. The problem now seems to have gone away, but I will continue to monitor it.

they might appear normal but it might be a dry joint or loose connection, so hence why I suggested unplugging and replugging the cables back in again
but if its working fine now, no worries!
