We have solar PV, a Givenergy inverter and AiO and a Zappi EV charger. Plus an electric Aga and Octopus Intelligent Go.
I know exactly what we need to achieve but, despite much fiddling with the app, can’t seem to manage it.
We need the AiO to charge either from the Solar or, during the six low rate hours ONLY, from the grid.
We then want it to discharge ONLY to the Home. Never to the grid (the electric Aga is more than capable of using the full charge of the battery during the hours/days when solar is not available).
Is this achievable? Any advice would be most gratefully received!
Eco mode enabled,
Two set “timed charge” sessions. 23:30 - 23:59 and 00:00 - 05:30
The Solar will only charge the AIO if there is spare after supplying the rest of the load.
The AIO won’t discharge to anything other than home load, unless you set a Timed Discharge or Export (don’t)
Since you are charging over a 6 hour window, you might want to change the Battery Options charge power to just over 2000 W, depending on how enpty your battery is each night, to slow the charge down.
