App energy graph and portal reports occasional extremely high grid figures

Have Giv HY5.0 inverter. Occasionally the figures shown for grid import are impossible today’s show 4999999.99KWh in about 2 hours in the early hours. Would have thought today’s was possibly a glitch due to start of BST. But this is the third time this has happened since January installation, and always on a Sunday.
These figures are reflected in weekly or monthly reports so they are useless.
Anyone had the same problem and any fix?

Where are you seeing the grid import figures?
Is it the portal, app or Home Assistant?

Rob

Both App and portal.

Thanks. This is very strange.
This is my similar view from the app so there is something that is not right with yours:

Comparing the units, it looks as if yours are in milliwatts!

Look on the portal and see if the units are correct.
If they are, it may be a glitch with the app. See if there is an update that you can download.
I am on v3.4.11.5650 on an iPhone (iOS), shown at bottom of the screen under the ‘3 bar icon’ top left. Comparing the App Store, I have the latest version of the app.

It could be worth restarting the inverter (button on far right on portal).
If that doesn’t work, I would contact GE with the issue.

First, see if anyone else has an alternative suggestion.

Rob

Thanks, yes I have the same app version as you.
Strange it only seems to happen on Sundays and only the energy graph, the power graph is correct.
The portal dash board is also incorrect and weekly report for two weeks ago said I had consumed over£7,000,000 in the week.

I’ll wait a bit to see if I get any further responses before pressing any buttons.

The easiest way I’ve found to fix similar bugs with the or to update the app is to uninstall it from your phone/tablet, restart the device the reinstall the app.

Thanks, I think it must be an app/portal issue as a third party inverter app does not have the same problem. Just a shame, as it skews portal weekly reports.
Just installed firmware DO.315- AO.315 but can find no information as to what it changes.
