Following a major power outage, my battery is stuck in idle mode at 72% charged. All my energy is being drawn from the grid instead. I have tried resetting the battery using the black button on the right hand side of the battery but nothing changes.
Checked all the breakers?
Including the one for the grid meter - the little thing with the green screen?
Maybe power everything off and on again in the order detailed in the install manual.
Could also try rebooting your WiFi router as sometimes that helps get Comms back up and running.
Thanks, I’ll try all those things tomorrow,
If you have a Gateway there are several breakers behind the metal door.
I had a similar problem when the AIO breaker had tripped for some reason. I reset it and all returned to normal.
That makes good sense but unfortunately I don’t have a Gateway but it sounds like I should as I have solar panels and a wall charger for my ev. Oddly, the installer never mentioned it.
I have checked everything and rebooted my router but nothing changed. I then decided to go on the app and reset settings to factory defaults and the battery started to discharge. Just like that! I note from the stats that it was charging on Intelligent Octopus Go over night, so it was just the discharging that was the problem. Anyway it seems to be active now but thanks for your input.
