Battery issues and no response from support

I have a GivEnergy HY3.6 Inverter with a 5.22 kWh Battery, and after working really well for nearly 2 years, the battery now longer charges from the solar PV. I have tried restarting the battery (the green switch has not tripped), updating the firmware, and force-feeding it from the grid, but it only just slowly discharges (6-8W) back to the grid. In the good old days, you could call GivEnergy and sort out the problem, but now having sent various messages earlier this week (via email and their messaging system), there has not even been a confirmation that they have received anything.

They used to be so good - anyone any idea how the best way to get in contact with them to sort out issues - or do you just have to hope that someone eventually responds?

I have always found that emailing them has been a quick process, but if not then the support number - 01377252874 should work

Thanks - I’ll give them another try. The past few times I’ve tried it just sent me to the contact form on their site, but maybe I’ll keep persevering as that is the way I used to get through.

I think their phone line shut in November, and it’s been hard to get hold of anyone since :(

I did get through on the phone - after waiting for almost 90 minutes - and the battery is now charging from the PVs, but I need to get back to them as the app live readings are completely inaccurate.

Best way Is to go to givenergy users on Facebook and place your query there, you will be very pleased you did.
