BMS Communication Fail/Battery Voltage Low

Hi,

Just had a second all-in-one installed and it was finished very late on Friday night. The installer had a 2.4hr drive back so not everything was checked. I am seeing the following two errors on both AIOs:

Battery Voltage Low
followed by:
BMS Communication Fail

the units then show a red error lamp on front.

I looked through the commissioning logs and notice that there was a swap from lead-acid to Lithium-ion and I just have this nagging memory if that is wrong. Does anyone have any thoughts on the issues and how to rectify?

I have written to the installer but its getting late on Saturday so not very hopeful that this is not looked at until Monday now.

Should be Lithium, if it shows lead acid it’s wrong.

Often it’s just a loose Comms cable between the inverter and battery system.

That tends to be more on the hybrid and AC3 models. But perhaps a similar thing can happen on AIOs.
