BMS Release - 3022

First full day on 3022 and it’s not looking good …

Displayed SOC dropped from 100% to 99% where it stayed despite surplus solar.

Next there was a near instantaneous displayed SOC drop from 99% to 23%.

Overnight timed charge stopped the SOC dropping further but continued until the over voltage limit was hit (56.21V) causing the displayed SOC% to jump from 30% to 100%.

Where did you get BMS3022 from?
Any idea what has changed?
I’m still hoping for a fix to my overcharging / voltage fanning problem.

Assuming the portal inverter software card and remote log are not lying it just “arrived”, unannounced, late last Wednesday. I did not load it manually or initiate an update.

The only details I have are here …

Low voltage firmware revisions | GivEnergy

Hmm. The description of the changes looks promising. I guess that item 1 addresses the noticeable number of complaints of SOC getting stuck at 100% after overnight charge. Hopefully item 2 will address my fanning / overvoltage problem.
It says that this is the next expected public release. I wonder why / how yours was automatically (or manual remote) updated?
Happy to test this in advance of public release @TheDragon_Giv

3022 has been around on the Installer Resources page for a good few weeks.
Not tried it as my system has been having some problems of late.

Thanks. I noticed that it is dated 13th June. Unfortunately, I don’t have access to the installer resources page or I would gladly give it a try.

It’s not a locked area, I found it via google: Installer resources | GivEnergy

Ah, found it. I’ll give that a try. Thanks.

I had two massive displayed SOC% drops/corrections a couple of days apart. The first was on 3021 and the second on 3022. The good news is that 3022 is not necessarily the cause. Bad news is 3022 has not fixed it!
