Charge at night failing

recently I started testing the functionality to charge my battery at night and use it the day.

I have noticed a number of issues.

  1. the inverter losing the time setting and charging other time.
  2. the battery is not discharging during the day
  3. The application and the portal have different settings.
  4. after the latest firmware update and mobile app the mobile app is crashing is not load the data with the battery statues etc.

I am not sure why is getting that difficult to setup that functionality.
Could please provide me any instructions manual ?

What I am trying to do is to charge at night the battery and use the battery all day.
Never use the Grid when the solar or the batter have power.

Inverter Model GIV-HY5.0. (Not sure about the gen)
Software Version D0.315-A0.315
Battery 9.5k

On the portal, go to Inverter/Settings

  1. Your default inverter setting should be ECO

  2. Select Timed charge.

  3. Change Disabled to Enabled,
    Input the times you want for your timed charge (match to low tariff slots)
    Select Submit

  4. I would then go back to Eco but the timed charge should kick in to match the time you have input. When the time period is completed, the inverter should automatically go back to Eco
    This should be repeated each day.

… and that should be it.

Alternatively, on the App,

  1. Select the cogwheel (top right)
  2. Select Timed charge
  3. Enable, input your chosen time slot, and Save changes.

…and that should be it.
