It’s also a good idea to Prevent Battery Discharging to EV
What tariff are you on? I never use solar to charge the car. I use Intelligent Octopus Go and pay 7p kWh to charge the car and it pays 15p kWh for all we export. I does not make ant sense to charge the car on those rates.

We don’t have a battery.
I gave them a call and apparently we need a CT clamp and 2 cat 6 cables. We put one in, and the house is now finished and plastered and ready to move in. I didn’t realised that the CT clamp needed to be hard wired with a cat 6 to the charger as well, our prev charger, zappi, used a wireless connection via the hub I think
