EV charger screen on app showing ‘Car not plugged in’ when it is

Bought PHEV (Volvo XC60) recently (first EV) and, as well as the regular 26:Groundleak errors caused by over voltage by supplier), we are also having very regular issues with charger not recognising that the car is plugged in (volvo app can see it is plugged in though).

Have tried restarting EV charger and sometimes it eventually sees it’s plugged in but at moment we have tried restarting many times and unplugged and replugged.

Any advice welcome.

I am having issues with my charger and a new MG PHEV too. A workaround for me is to set the charger in CT METER mode or Standalone. In both cases I have to set it to grid charging for the car to charge properly, but in reality this charges from excess solar and my GIVenergy battery.

If in Inverter control mode, my GIVenergy all-in one fails to charge properly as well if the car is plugged in.

It all worked fine with my previous Ford PHEV, only since getting the new car have these issues arisen.

Awaiting some kind of fix from GIVenergy but not holding my breath.

Found the workaround that helps me that 2hrs on the telephone to support didn’t, be interesting if changing your config makes your car charge as expected.
