Hi, I just joined the GE community today as I want to learn more about people’s experience with the products and GE support.
My simple design for my N/S garage roof is as follows.
Two Eurener 500w panels on south side, and two on the north.
Four Tigo optimisers. All wired in one string to output around 140v DC to start up the inverter even in the winter.
One GIV-PV-3.6-G string inverter, currently selling for about £400 with VAT.
However, if anyone has a recent Gen 3 inverter they are willing to sell, please msg me. There are a few on eBay also.
Regarding support for installers, I would like to hear from you about your recent experience of support. I have been waiting over a week now for GE to respond to my email and WhatsApp msgs. I sent the info asked for to register and happy to do training etc. If I don’t get a response soon I may look at cheaper alternatives from Fox and Solax for my first install.
When business picks up I plan to add ten panels on to my main home roof and upgrade the inverter, some storage and V2G DC charger.
You should now have an email
Then creare your engineer login, under the company.
Complete the training and you can then install products and comission them.
Hi there, appreciate your fast response and setting me up on the portal. However, I clicked on the link you shared but, the SSO cloud seems not to accept my email and old or new PW. I have tried three times. Can I use my business email for this community forum and the SSO portal, with different PW, please?
Thank you for doing that today, I have now logged in to the SSO. All well laid out and easy to navigate. Thanks for the training link ‘learn upon’ however when I click on it I am directed back to an SSO login even though I am already logged in. What should I do please? Would like to find a link to start training and a record of that in the one SSO menu, if possible?
Thats odd, can you screenrecord this ill send to the training team, maybe there is some issue i dont know about.
You should just be able to login with the engineer account and complete the training.
DOnt login with company to GivAcadamy. As it is the engineer who is trainied

Hi @TheDragon_Giv hope you had a nice weekend. Could you help me figure out how to start my training, please? I cannot figure out how to change my engineers profile to ‘migrate to sso’ seems locked. Assumed I was on SSO already as signed up way past the March 25 change over date.

Yes as a customer we get that a lot, you’ll find that when you put this companies products in that’s it your on your own. We as customers are frustrated to the point of going to court under the sale of goods act, as our contract is with YOU if you fit this product. Even my installer wasn’t happy with them, but hey ho, take a chance, remember though, YOU RESPONSIBLE IN LAW. My installer is just about to get court papers.
