GivEnergy app on iPad - does not retain the IP address in local settings

So every time I open the app I have the message on the first screen asking me to check local settings etc…. and the IP address for the inverter is again not there.
I put this in every time I open the app so why does it not keep it?

Sometimes it will find the inverter and others not. I have toggled the various options about finding it manually etc…

I have no such problems on my iPad

Go into settings/local monitoring, scan for your inverters, click the globe symbol next to it to save

I have to do this every time as it never saves.

I think I have solved it.

Looks like it was the VPN.
