I have had a GivEnergy solar panel system for around 4 years without problems.
This year I had to get a local solar panel installer to move the system out of our loft and I took the opportunity to add an additional GivEnergy Battery into the system.
The system now is configured Invertor Gen 1 + 5.2 Battery Gen 3 + 2x 2.6 Batteries Gen1
The system has functioned perfectly for the last 4 months (during the hot weather spell) but I noticed yesterday that the battery indications are different on all the batteries. The 1st battery in the chain (5.2) is showing a full charge, the2nd battery is showing the status led on and the next led flashing, and the 3rd Battery is displaying nothing ! I was with the installer when he first connected the new battery layout and he did connect the batteries together when they were all showing a full charge.
Any help or suggestions would be very welcome as winter is coming !!
Do you have a list of all the Firmware levels for the inverter and batteries ?
There might be something in the release notes

Gen1 Inverter is on DO.450-A0.451 Firmware
Gen 3 Battery is on 4009 Firmware
Gen 1 Batteries are on 3017 Firmware (if I remember correctly from earlier upgrade attempts !)
You might need the battery firmware update on the Gen 3 :
and I’d also update the Firmware to 3022 on the Gen2.
I am not sure how you do it these days - so you might need to get a USB stick ready
