How well does an unsupported EV work on a GivEnergy Installation?

Hi EV experts, I need some advice on purchasing an unsupported EV and how well it would work with my existing Givenergy solar PV+battery setup.

I have a 5kw Givenergy Hybrid inverter with 7.8kw of PV, plus a 9.5kw battery.
Im thinking of buying a MG5 EV, which sadly isn’t supported by Givenergy as yet, so no intelligent go for me sadly.

Ideally, I want to be able to intelligently charge my new EV to a given battery percentage (i.e. stop charging at 80%) and also have a charge session automatically begin at a set time to take advantage of low rate tariffs between 2 and 5am.
When its sunny, I also want to charge during the day, so that I can circumvent the 5kw system restrictions G99 application put on (I believe this is possible because when I`m charging my existing battery, I can generate up to 7.5kw)

Can someone with some real world experience help me understand how these points would work?

A lot will depend on what charger you have. Missing piece of the jigsaw!

I spent a long time on Intelligent Go without a supported car because I have a Zappi.

I`ve decided to install a GivEnergy EV charger, as the benefits of a fully integrated system trump any (current) incompatabilities with Octopus Intelligent tarriffs.
