I have a 13.5 Kwh AIO and Ge Gateway. Has been working fine with Octopus IOG and Export but lost the internet a couple of days ago due to fibre break, now restored. Inverter (AIO) was offline and despite restarts which Giv says were successful, it is still Idle (yellow) and battery flashing green and then solid red at regular intervals. Have had this problem before which sometimes cures itself, don’t know how! Have never been able to communicate with the AIO, and don’t even know how to, installer never told me. Any help much appreciated. David
Hi. I had a similar issue. Try opening the Gateway box and check the circuit breaker to the AIO hasn’t tripped.
Thanks for that info! Actually I had already done that and reset the circuit breaker, and after a considerable time (several hours) the Inverter came back online. Do you know why losing the internet connection should cause the breaker to the AIO to trip?
It shouldn’t. You probably had a power cut whilst it was offline. Occasionally mine will trip the rcd in the gateway when the power comes back online, not very often thankfully.
That’s useful info, thanks. After a long period of the AIO frequently going offline, it now seems a lot more stable, fingers crossed for the future…
