Need a Smart Meter and SEG

Hi

I am with Octopus energy tarrif.
I have a Givenergy solar array with inverter and 2x 9.5 kw/hr batteries.
Octopus will not come out and fit a “smart meter” in order that I can get a SEG account.
I have been waiting 6 months.

Can I get another supplier to do this?
I am missing out big time on exporting to the grid.

Hoping some of you well informed people can advise me of options.

very strange, why would Octopus not come and fit a smart meter? Is there something non-standard about your meter setup (shared supply to two properties, 3 phase, ?)

Any supplier would be able to fit a smart meter. Eon Drive is quite a good alternative tariff to the Octopus ones, despite the name you don’t need an EV so you could always change to them.

Have you got all the required paperwork for export, you’ll need your DNO approval letter and the MCS certificate.
