How do i force charge my battery without integrating to my elec supplier/ using the ‘smart scheduler’?
Givenergy, if you’ve removed the old buttons, please put them back ASAP. Its worse than poor design to replace it (assumption) with a scheduler users might not want to use.
If this is to force cloud subscription, that’s a bait and switch and below you.
be quick before any goodwill disappears
2nd issue of course is the scheduler fails to work (error: Battery scedule apply failed:AC charge start: No response from inverter)
I suggest that you address your questions to premium@givenergy.co.uk This is a forum for users to help users. As far as I know nobody from GivEnergy software actually monitors it.
This is the feature I used most as I have a disabled son who has night time electrical equipment; we need to be sure the battery is charged if we think there is going to be a power cut. Let me know if you get an answer, please. I want to solve this before winter gets here. Thanks.
You could try downloading Richard Russell’s ‘Inverter App’ from the App Store or Google Play. If it prompts you to; enter your Inverter’s IP address. Press the Left arrowhead twice to move to the following screen.
Hi - thank you - I have actually already downloaded it. BBC Basic FTW! there’s nothing better to show the actual status and check the charging window hasnt been messed up (like it did only the other night)
FYI I think the main issue has been resolved now, in that the app has been updated again. ive since learnt to ignore the ‘battery settings’ for the new slot chooser - it now seems to work.
