New Router / Wifi

Hi,

I have a new router which I need to install, however this will be different network / wifi to my current setup. Is there anything I need to know about my inverter wifi setup prior to this? My installer set this up last time and I’m not sure what the process will be once my inverter loses it’s current wifi connection.

Set up your new router with the same SSID & Password as the old one.
Doing that saves changing them on every device connected to the old & new router.

Also ensure your new router offers a 2.4ghz/WPA2 encryption standard. GivEnergy kit needs both to interconnect.

Thanks all, I’ll check this before setup and try to get the network changed to make it seamless. The router is a new one sent by my ISP to resolve some issues I’ve had with internet dropping out (Ethernet too, not just wifi). Hopefully it is better than the previous one.
