I have been asking for help ever since this new SSO came into effect.
I have emailed god knows how many times and had no reply or help.
I have put a message on here on 22nd May and got a email asking for screenshots, which I sent the same day. And surprise surprise, never heard a thing back.
How can GivEnergy expect people who actually want to pay for a service to trust they will get what they pay for. When they will not even help log in to the stupid new thing.
No Support at all.
You are clearly not aware that GivEnergy have gone bust!!
They went into administration a while back.
Agreed it;s pretty poor. On average it takes 2 weeks to reply to any emails.
You are clearly not aware the software bit of GivEnergy is still operating.
And news flash they even have a premium service you pay for.
Check facts before opening mouth
I am aware the software side is still operating — that is rather the point.
The main GivEnergy business is in administration / ceased trading. What survived is essentially the software/platform side, for now.
That same software side is now asking users to pay for functionality that was previously free, while users are reporting they cannot even get help logging in.
If paying for “Premium” actually includes proper support, response times, or any kind of service commitment, feel free to point me to it. I have seen paid access to cloud/API/remote features mentioned. I have not seen a proper support commitment.
So “check facts before opening mouth” was unnecessary. The facts are exactly why people are questioning whether they can trust the service.
The comment “you are clearly not aware” was a sarcastic smug comment implying in an attempt to belittle.
So my reply was justified
Maybe try replying more politely and with respect and you may receive a different answer.
This is the last on the matter.
Fair enough. My wording was blunt, but “check facts before opening mouth” was also unnecessarily rude.
The underlying point remains: the business situation is relevant when people are discussing support, paid features and trust.
I’ll leave it there.
