Hi, I have a 5KW Gen 2 inverter and 4 x 5.2KW batteries and have been off-line since a firmware update failed on 11/6/24.
My installer tried a manual upload but there is no WiFi network matching the dongle serial number. The GivEnergy technical support team were very helpful but a reset didn’t resolve the problem. Any ideas how this can be resolved?

Sometimes the WiFi can revert to ‘AF21’ but it usually returns to the serial number after 5-10 mins.
Thanks for your response but the WiFi has not reverted to AF21. I suspect its a problem with the inverter and am hoping the issue will be resolved when GivEnergy visit this week.
How did you get Giv energy to visit please?
I phoned technical support at GivEnergy. After trying a few things over the phone they arranged for an engineer to visit.
