Portal inverter red dot?

I have a 9mths old Givenergy GIV-HY3.6 (D0.316-A0.316 software) inverter, battery & solar panels, connected via wired Lan, which appears to be all working ok.
But sometimes on the left-hand side of the portal page a red dot with a number appears, see attached photo. When I click on it clears only to reappear on another day
Does anyone know what this red dot means, as cannot find any reference to it anywhere including the remote logs.
Regards Derek.

this is indicating that there is a notification alert for your inverter, if you go into your inverter details and then look at notifications, you should see it

but sometimes the battery gives an over voltage alert which givenergy say is fine, so they have hidden the over voltage alerts in the portal. You see that there is an alert, but you can’t see it!

Check that there isn’t any other notifications, and if not, its due to this

Thanks Geoffrey for your reply. I have check the inverter notification and there is nothing there. So I will assume they are battery over voltage as you suggest and theres nothing to worry about.

Just out of interest do you know what the over volts threshold is ?

Can’t remember, sorry. It was discussed on the other givenergy customer forum about a year ago so if you create an account on there you may be able to find it https://community.givenergy.cloud/

Ok Geoffery, thanks for your help.

I’ve started getting this recently too. The first time did appear to be a notification message to say my battery was very low (which it was). I now seem to get it every day but the number is different every day and i have no new notifications since the last one
