I have a GivEnergy inverter, battery and EV charger. I have solar PV as well.
I have been running overnight EV charging via schedule. (12:30 to 5:30)
But a couple of weeks back I’ve noticed the schedules don’t work. However manual charging does work.
The schedule is recognized by the app and shows that it’s about to start but never commences. Shows <10 minutes continuously.
I tried reinstalling the EV charger, re booting it, rebooting the inverter etc. but nothing works.
I have the same problem, I eventually realised it starts charging partway through the schedule so doesn’t always do a full charge. I reported to GivEnergy support in September and am still waiting for a sensible response.
Same here. It’s been using scheduled charging since I bought the EV charger and the EV car. Nothing else has changed.,
Manual charging is fine but some nights the scheduled charging works and sometimes it doesn’t.
My wife relies on a charged car each morning to go to work.
If this doesn’t resolve I’ll ditch the charger and claim back from the credit card company/GivEnergy, to buy a different make of EV charger.
