I noticed there is an update available but I am very nervous about it. everything is working as far as i can see and don’t know whether to risk it?
It doesn’t help that we get no support . so if anything did go wrong i 'd be on my own!
Be grateful for any advice
Thanks
Mike
I have a 13.5kW AIO running on firmware 616 and battery firmware 12. The updates available are 620 and 13. In the past a GivEnergy support advised not to update if everything worked fine and when I recently asked the new GivEnergy Software support team running the Premium App, I got a similar answer…so I’m staying put. I tried to find the changelog but the page is missing and Claude couldn’t find it either!
Thanks for the release notes, I had a feeling they would turn up somewhere!
The only change relevant to my setup is the eps fix and as I have no problems with islanding I think I will miss out on that too.
I too have noticed there’s a firmware update, but like you, I am cautious; if something goes wrong, there is no backup. I think I will leave well alone for the moment. I have heard “don’t try and fix what’s not broken”. thanks.

I am in the same situation.
I do not trust GivEnergy one bit and have decided to not update because in the past I have had no support from them.
It is all well and good people and GivEnergy posting enormous amounts of technical diarrhoea that means little or nothing to most of the population.
It is outrageous of GivEnergy to leave all its customers in this mess.
The only advice is to contact your installer and get them to do it.
From other posts it seems that even those installers run for the hills when asked to do anything with GivEnergy and their products.
So I can only wish you luck. Sorry.
Thanks for all the replies!
I think i will leave well enough alone for now. I don’t trust a company i can’t contact!
Thanks again!
Mike
If it ain’t broke don’t fix it!
