I have 20 solar panels, aGivenergy 5 kw inverter mk1 and an 8.2 KWhour Givenergy battery. They are all located in my garage 30 metres from my house and connected to the house by a cable that both supplies the garage with power and feeds Solar/ battery power to the house. I want to increase my battery storage so wanted to ask as question. If I buy an all in one together with a gateway at the house could I keep my Givenergy inverter at the garage and feed solar into the all in one at the house and would it use solar into the backup system in the event of a power cut?
yes via the solar connection, it has been done but we are not quite ready with the AIO to accept it as supported just yet.
