Switching Eco mode remotely - but not through the remote portal

Trying to get my devices playing nicely together.

As an EV user, I don’t want to dump my days stored PV generation into the car when it starts charging.
So at the moment, eco mode is on and I have a time based battery pause from 10pm-3am which matches a timed boost on my Zappi charger to charge the car from the grid.
Works relatively well if I’ve done my usual mileage, but if I do a different mileage in the day the time doesn’t match up and I miss the opportunity to run the household base load on battery, or the charge overruns and deplete the battery.

What I’d like to do is set up a bit of home automation to monitor the EV charger and turn off eco (or turn on battery pause) while charging and vice versa.

Is there an interface on the inverter to allow this?

Look at home assistant and GivTCP.

Plenty about it on the normal GivEnergy community (this one is a beta)

Community.givenergy.cloud I think it is.
