Timed Discharge

I currently have one Slot for a timed discharge of the battery.
I’d like to add a couple more Slots, but cannot see how to add another Slot on the app or the web portal

I have never done this. However, you can set up the battery schedule in half hour slots to sell energy. If you want the system to remember what your schedule then you will need to set up a programme to control it, which is what I have done in the past.

At some point I had the option for more Slots, not the half hour ones, hence my confusion

Are you working with the app? If so you can go into Inverter Settings when you can set up 10 sessions.

App or web login, makes no difference. I can no longer see how to add the additional Slots. Before the empty ones were stacked underneath, but there’s nothing now

Do you have a subscription for the remote version of the app? Is it latest version? You should see add a charge slot on the inverter settings page.

Timed Export allows multiple time slots. Maybe that’s what you remember seeing ?

Yes, hence my original question as to why I now don’t get that option. I am on Premium and latest version of app but also don’t get option on web portal

It’s Discharge I’m talking about, not charge.

Are you getting confused between Timed Discharge and Timed Export?

Timed Discharge allows you to set you battery to discharge to the house only between a start time and an end time. It is basically pausing your battery outside of these time.

Timed Export allows you to set up to 10 slots for exporting your battery to the grid between a start and end time.

No, I’m certainly not getting confused. If you are unable to have more than one Timed Discharge then it’s a tad disappointing and maybe something that can be implemented?

@RPR
Have you tried looking at the ‘direct control’ tab in the menu. I see 10 discharge slots there. I only see 1 slot in the inverter tab as depicted in your screen shot.

Just had to work out it was in the app. I’ve looked in that but don’t really fully understand all the values etc so don’t want to mess about with things. Would rather use slots under Timed Discharge, it would be far easier.

@RPR
Looking at old version 4.0.4 of app and only 1 slot there. The option in direct control seems as easy, just put start time, action, end time, action, leave soc at 4% unless you think battery capacity needs to be higher for later event and that’s it. Presumably it is cutting the server out of the equation.
