I have just seen the following message on my Inverter/Software page of the portal.
There’s no release notes on https://kb.givenergy.cloud (yet)
I am reluctant to upgrade with no further information.
I am pretty sure that Inverter updates are not accompanied by a battery calibration.
Does anyone have any further information about the update. My system has been running well over the last few months and I do not want to run the risk of messing it up’.

I think it is a glitch… look at the date in the top left ( it’s fom 2024 ) - I bet you are already on 3017 of the firmware anyway !
I am pretty sure that the date of 2024-08-15 14:20:12 gives the date that my inverter firmware was updated to D0-A0-205 and that the battery had been update to 3017 earlier.
So I don’t believe that this is a glitch.

There is no new firmware released as far as I can see 
My system is a AC3.0 Gen 1, not a hybrid Gen3

Still nothing since 2024… but other people are getting the upgrade message.
I wonder if there is a newer version but they have not published the release notes yet
Look back at my top message in this thread.
It does look as if the information about the update hasn’t gone out to everyone with an AC3.0 and DO.205-A0.205 firmware.
I want to see some release notes so that I know what I would be upgrading to, especially knowing the firmware updates always carry an element of risk.

I have foolishly selected the update button in Inverter/Software.
The update seemed to go through smoothly got then hung on this screen:
In the portal, I am told:
My inverter is now offline.
I have a notification for update starting but nothing for it having finished:
Can you please look from your end as it looks like the update has bricked my inverter:
On app, I have no local access and will try going through the Dongle dance for the umpteenth time. I am running off solar now. Batteries on 95%.

I have looked back to my remote control readings on April 1st when my system froze whilst trying to update from D0.205-A0.205 to D0.210-A0.210 Firmware.
The upgrade worked after nearly 12 hours and after my nth attempt at getting connectivity restored.
I don’t understand the significance of the change made with 210 over 205: ‘Correct Reserve & CutOff register mapping’.
I have noticed one difference in behaviour which shows in the power graphs. But I can’t explain the difference.
D0.205-A0.205
D0.210-A0.210
I have seen posts before about this zig-zag pattern but I don’t know what is is showing.
