What do you add to a GivGateway & AIO for future Solar PV?

Hi

If in the future I want to add Solar PV to my home, what gets added to my current system? Is it an AC or Hybrid Inverter and is that wired into the GivGateway?

Add a standard string inverter like a solar edge.

No point going for a hybrid, just need a standard string inverter.

Subject to the size of the system you should also be able to plug the solar string inverter’s AC output into the givenegy gateway - so you can fill the battery even when the grid is down as long as it’s sunny and the AIO didn’t completely run out of power post the grid dying!
