I was very happy with the system before the company givenergy went tits!
Now after changing my WiFi provider to cable and all the crap that goes with that, finally now hooked up to this new setup, asking more coppers out of my pension to operate what I did consider a useful tool but now feel that going solar was a complete waste of money. Rant over.
Why not join Axle Energy and get GivEnergy premium for free, and get a few pounds for helping the grid?
Ive just done that. A lot happier now. I hate being a grouch and having to complain. But it’s hard to remain patient when my solar has been unable to connect it for months!
I received some help from givenergy as well.
My installer team didn’t paint a very good picture and it got me worried concerning warranty.
The system has remained good for 3 years and it’s good to know of this forum.
I believe the warrantee is the responsibility of the installer, but I imagine that might vary depending on your sale contract.
GiveEnergy going into administration has really got nothing to do with the fact that you made changes to your own network equipment without thinking about the consequences. Then pretending that the fact that you didn’t know there would be consequences and it’s all somebody else’s fault. It was likely people like you who expected free support for life problems that were absolutely nothing to do with GivEnergy that drove them into receivership. Rant over.

I’ve got them coming round this week to add some more batteries and panels to my existing set up. Very professional.
