Wifi Patch Fault

I got an ALL IN ONE fitted 2 days ago. They had some issues when setting up in that although they had successfully connected to my wifi, it kept dropping out. The installers contacted Givenergy over the phone and got it connected. They left and it disconnected almost immediately. Therefore, I have a brand new battery but no control over it as the app doesn’t work.
I’ve been told it’s a wifi patch fault and they need to install some firmware to sort it. But haven’t as yet. It’s now the weekend… so it isn’t going to happen, I guess.
Any tips welcome. Anyone else had this on a brand new system?

Contact givenergy support by phone or web chat, they should be online today or wait till Monday if you prefer.

I assume they are talking about the dongle firmware.

Yes, i had a similare problem on our Gen 3 Hybrid Inverter which has dropped its wifi connection regularly since fitted, 16 months ago. I believe the HF-A21 comms board has failed entirely - no connection via ethernet cable either.
Installer spend half a day trying to get it to connect, with phone assistance from GivEnergy. No joy.
